In 2019, a new Hawaiian/ Pacific Islander movement called Island eNVy began in Las Vegas. The goal of the program is to provide resources to improve the health of the community in the Las Vegas valley. With one of the highest rates of smoking, lung cancers, heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic diseases, health awareness, education, and prevention are essential in reversing this trend for our islander community. 

To accomplish this, Island eNVy has hosted a number of free monthly activities called “`Ohana Outings." With your help, together we can help improve the lives of those who matter to us most – our family and friends.

O`ahu-based nonprofit organization, Motiv8 Foundation, helps underserved communities in multiple states important to its co-founder, Las Vegas Raiders Quarterback Marcus Mariota. 

Their work focuses on youth athletics and education, and homelessness, all of which are causes close to Marcus and his family. Over the years, Motiv8 Foundation has helped individuals, families, and organizations in Hawai`i, Oregon, Tennessee and now Nevada, including Habitat for Humanity, After School All Stars, the Polynesian Bowl, ALS Research Institute, Hawai`i Food Bank and more.
